Georg Kreuz is the Chief IP Counsel at Huawei, where he is responsible for the European IPR. Over the last years, Georg has been instrumental for the company in areas related to patent prosecution, litigation, patents and standards and IPR policy.
Before his current position, Georg worked for a Japanese technology company in the general management of device manufacturing in areas directly related to IPR, contracts and standardisation. In addition, he worked for 11 years in a European technology company working as an in-house counsel focusing in the semiconductor and telecom sectors where he headed the division on patents and standards, and was involved in quality assessment. He also spent nearly ten years in the private practice working as a patent attorney specialising in the semiconductor, telecom and the automotive sectors.
