Martin Schneider disposes of long-standing experience in all areas of intellectual property law and in distribution, licensing, competiton, advertising, media and IT law. One of his main focal points is the structuring and negotiation of contracts to commercialise intellectual property rights, including software and TV-rights. He coaches and advices start-up companies (e.g. company law, shareholder agreements, protection and commercialisation of intellectual property). Before founding and building up Schneider Feldmann and Grüter Schneider & Partner he founded Dr. Schneider & Partner Ltd., Intellectual property rights, was the former (part-time) legal secretary of the Federal Appeal Commission in Intellectual Property Matters in Switzerland, a section head in the Swiss Institute of Intellectual Property, an associate in a Zurich based law firm, and responsible for licensing projects in a large Swiss industrial group. He wrote his PhD thesis about the protection of industrial and trade secrets (“Schutz des Unternehmensgeheimnisses vor unbefugter Verwertung”).
